Annual PhD students conference day 9 Dec 2009
The Dept Biological Sciences will host presentations by its senior PhD students in a day-long conference to celebrate the new and innovative research being conducted by the department and cooperating organisations. The venue is SG.01 9am-5pm; all are welcome. Download abstracts.

Successful FRST bids

A CBER team led by Bruce Clarkson received $1.6M over 4 years to determine the best way to restore natural ecosystems in city areas. Bruce, David Hamilton and Brendan Hicks, with IGCI staff, leads an OBI of $10M over 10 years to research algal blooms and pest fish.
